What's it cost to get things chromed these days? I have a MOCO engine guard on my '05 Softail and it corroding on the bottom. Pisses me off, but is it cheaper to just buy another or can i get it chromed for less?

Thanks,

Did you try the Yellow Pages, prices vary by local .

Don't tell them its for a Harley either, say its a machine guard .

Thanks. Called most of them and it's about $50 - $60 per linear foot of tubing. Call it six feet all in, that's more than a new one.

Appreciate it.

Check with a local machine shop, you may be able to piggyback on an order they send out to be chromed. Could get you both a cheaper price.
