So i left home yesterday and very quickly my ride started missing, after a quick check and new plugs,i determined the rear coil was not providing enough spark and after a resistance check the rear coil pin was open. i have opted to go with accel,s new coil over plug system and ordered them from J&P Cycle, has anybody out there tried these ? what has anyone heard? Thanks in advance:feedback:

Been discussed a bit here. Do`t think anyone has tried them yet. Pretty new to the market.
Will be interesting to hear your impressions.

Waiting sucks. :nod
New products like these always give me issues concerning reliability. Middle of no where moment on long ride.
As short as the plug wires are on most Harley models, I don't see that there would be much improvement with COP.

My pickup has Coil Near Plug, and the plug wires on that are about the same length as my bike.

Cleans up the look no wires showing.....custom thing.

Well i got my accell coils today, the install was no problem and the bike started right up. I put about 50 miles on the bike this afternoon, just riding around the city,i didnt want to go to far yet but a trip to Mt St Helens is coming up in a few weeks. It feels that the throttle response is a little crisper and the idle is somewhat smoother but other then that nothing else is evident but i sure like the look, no coil or plug wires. Ride safe everyone!!:biker:
Thanks for the review. Can`t use them on my Evo. But had seen and was curious about them anyways.
Hope they continue to perform for you. Your trip will be a good test.
thats what dodge put on their 5.7 hemi, it seems to be working on my truck
Aww!! new coils!!
Well,we are back from our road trip to Mt St Helen, put on 5800km about 3600 miles in
10 days. My new coil/over plugs worked flawlessly,so those of you thinking of converting,i recommend it if you like the look.
Is the product you are talking about the Accell Stealth Supercoil?
