Hi I know the stock length is 11" I want to know what the length of the 54000040"s
they must be longer because they say your seat will be 1" taller.
Then I will know how much longer I can go with out changing other things
on the bike. Do you think I could go with 12" Thanks for your reply

"Harley-Davidson Sportster Comfort Flex Rear Shocks. 54000040
For the rider willing to exchange the low profile "slammed" look for improved ride comfort. Standard-length shocks raise the seat height of a factory-lowered bike approximately 1",

My guess is if your wifes 883 Iron has not been lowered than they should not change the hight of the bike at all.

Hi: I found this link

The eye to eye of the Comfort flex is 13" They use them on the bikes Harley
ships to England. My wifes bike has 11" I was wondering if I went to
12" Progressive's if that would give her a better ride.
Thanks to all who responded.
