I was thinking the other day this might be a cool/informative thread. Kinda like a "Hints from Heloise", for bikers, (For those of us old enough to remember that...... if not, Google her, lol!).

I'll start it out with one that I was reminded of again recently from way back.......

"When approaching an unknown or unfamiliar curve in the twisties and there's a buttload of skid marks leading into it, SLOW THE EFF DOWN MAN! There's a good chance it's tighter then it looks!

Study your bike often. If something looks out of place, missing or loose, fix it before you ride.

If you are out riding the rural two lane highways and lose your bearings watch for a water tower and when you spot one off in the distance head for it. A water tower means there is at least a small community there and likely a crossroad(s) with road directional signs.
I like this---thank you.
