I have a 2011 Ultra with an eletrical issue. The original battery started going dead this year so I put in a new HD battery last Sun, ran bike all day with no problems, bike sat till Thursday now new battery is dead. I've heard they have had issues with the voltage regulator but my voltage gauge aways stays between 12 & 14. This is getting annoying....:mad

Don't trust the factory gauge. Test the charging system with a good handheld meter. When replacing the battery, did you get a large spark while connecting the terminal?

The gauge should read 14v not 12v. If the gauge is dropping to 12v there's a problem, possibly the regulator is failing.

:thumbsup Gauge should be @14v running down the road. Less = problem.

If the bike ran all day (with at least a few stops and starts I assume) without issues, but was dead after four days, you may also have something causing a drain on the battery with the switch off.

Yes I stopped a few times during the day with no issues, then a few days later the battery was dead.
