I have looked and looked and can't seem to find the numbers on the port so I can check the code. Is the 1 and 2 the green and white wires or are they the green and black wires?:Thanks

Don't know if this will help, but I have a carbed '99 Road Glide and for getting codes mine is pin 1 is red/green and pin 2 is black.

What year Road King ? You can also pull up codes using the speedo trip knob . Hold the knob in while turning on the ignition and diagnostics will appear in the speedo odometer . Toggle thru to get the codes . There's a sticky here some place that gives the procedure and code decipher . Try the electrical section .
It's in the General Service and repair section .
