Ummm can’t you just make the font’s larger? You have no problem reading everyone else’s typing. Jus sayin and also not trying to be a dick! Lol
Great advice....thanks!!!Yes, always, always, always, take your bike for a ride, tell your wife/S.O. that you just put oil in your bike and need to take it out for several hours to check the oil........................................................................................JK, I agree with 1/2ton

my 107 Fatboy had engine oil just over full when I bought it. Dealer serviced. These M8 are better off running below the full mark. Carry over and blowing out off the breather will happen. I've been told it's best to run half way on dip stick (so in the area that reads quart).
Need to change the title of this thread to "Do I need to increase the power of my reading glasses?"Oil? What's that? We're supposed to check that shit, dam.
@GRAMPS111 I have an extra pair of glasses with progressive lens....😁
Gotta be smarter than the machine....Have to tell you, it's no wonder that there are so many Harleys with rebuilt/replaced engines out there. Only the Harleys have this convoluted process to see what level my oil is in. My other bikes have a simple process. I go into the garage. My bikes are parked straight up in Chocks. I look at the window on the side of the engine. If it's within the medium and full range I am good to go. I check the chain look over the bike and back it out....... Done.
I think that's less to do with Harley making things "convoluted" (which they really aren't, sure it's not as simple as a quick view port, but it's not that difficult to get the bike to temp, pull a stick and look at it). Cars are much more convoluted. There's also ways Harley is less convoluted than others, for example... valve lash adjustment (something unnecessary on a Harley that other bikes need, and I am sure forums related to those bikes have plenty of posts about bikes with new or rebuilt engines due to previous or existing owners being negligent about maintenance or screwing them up themselves).Have to tell you, it's no wonder that there are so many Harleys with rebuilt/replaced engines out there. OHHH In do like Dark Mode !!! 🍺 😎What wing said!^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Try clicking the on the three dots upper right then when that little dropdown opens, click the bottom box " * Dark Mode"
That will change your page background to dark and the lettering to light. Much easier on the eyes to read.
I been viewing the forum in dark mode ever since i found that. But, Boy howdy does it make all caps paragraphs hard to follow!
EDIT: Then some joker will change their font color to red or yellow... What i see of that, looks like a ghost typed it..![]()
