Howdy. Brand new to the forum, searching it frequently to find answers to many common, and sometimes not so common problems. My brakes have been gradually dragging more as the days go by and my trips are much shorter. Have just over 13,000 k onr. From what I've read, the boots or otherwise referred to piston assembly inside the brake gets gummed up ( sand dirt etc. ) as we've had much sand thrown over the roads up here in canaduh. Two questions. Without havin to goto the dealer, who carries 12 point sockets these days, so I can service these myself. Secondly. To what point do I need to disassemble the brake to effectively clean this gunk out, and get my pistons retracting fully. btw the dealer also mentioned he'd like to check the front disk for warpage as ns this is not the problem, but the tolerances are probably too small for me to check.
