For insurance reasons my employer got copies of everyones MVR or whatever its called and I now have two...not one but two Incapacitating Injury from early 90's??? I have not had even a speeding ticket from 1986 until 2004.

I moved to a different state in 98, so I called the county I used to live in and gave them the case numbers on my Report and they came up with nothing. I got the number to the state and called them and also they couldn't get the case numbers looked up. :what?

My boss said its nothing to him and laughed when I told him I had no idea about it,he told me they get a report every couple of years and it just showed up the time before and he didn't think anything of it and didn't tell me.....this time it came up in conversation I was having with him.

I can't think of anything else to do without shelling out cash to a lawyer?:eek

I worked for a guy who's son wrecked several times in company truck and I know one time was a bad wreck and I wonder if they didn't use my I.D?

I changed jobs about same time and on another job I was told by a co-worker that the cops came to talk to me about a accident, but then another co-worker talked to them...I later found out this guy hit someone in a un-insured and un titled car?

His wife worked in office and could have used my I.D also?? Both these jobs were with some seedy but rich people?? Could they have burnt me???

Sounds crazy but stuff been running through my head??? These things just showed up according to my boss four years ago and he's not worried about it cause they weren't on reports before and my first job in my new state ran mvr and it was clean???

Going to make some more calls and hope its just a error on state or county but I doubt it..both cases our only seven month apart.

Any advice? Just forget about it? or what???

Your driving record is listed by your OLN. Operator's License Number, which is issued by your Department of Motor Vehicles.

If you've had more than one license in your life, because of living in different states, there's an OLN for each state, registered with each DMV.

You can contact the DMV of each state, via their web page, and go that route. Request a copy of your record from each state and see what they have.

Is there a reason your boss can't just Xerox a copy for you of what HE has?

I have stuff on my DMV that shouldn't be there, I want to get it off and find out why amd how it got there.

My boss gave me the copy he has, just has the two case numbers and thats it. It is from Illinois and state I live in now said its from Illinois and nothing to do with them...I have class A CDL and have for a long time.

I called the state number I was given by county traffic court where I lived and they had on their records same thing I had but no other info? no court date..no judge..no settlement and they even said all cases have some info..these case numbers show nothing??

Might have to get a lawyer to look into it? Last time I got a lawyer they drug out everything longer than needed to clean me out...I fired them and took care of the deal by myself....but lawyers have a way of getting info...
I would not let it go...i think those scumbags set you up...as you suspect...i would follow it to the end. If it was fraud and it has affected your life negatively...i would get a scumbag lawyer to go after them...bigtime. someone should go to jail if they did what you think...and pay you for your pain and suffering...let us know how you make out and good luck.
I hear ya!!
Something strange is going on, and its strange it just showed up in last four or five years and its supposed to be from twenty years ago. Hope its a clerical error or something that can be fixed easy enough?

Bugs me cause I hadn't had a traffic ticket from late 1986 until 2004 and none since?:eek
I also would not let it go. When I move to GA, they put a wrong letter at the end of my name on my new license, I didn't notice immediately.
Next day I went back to get it fixed and was told I had to have a certified copy of my birth cert. I said screw it, no big thing, just one letter wrong in my name. WRONG, over the next 5 years, my name morphed into the incorrect spelling on everything! Bottom line, don't let bad info remain on your drivers license.
I'm not a lawyer, just thinking out loud here.. I don't like lawyers either, no offense to anyone, but I've been burned too. Anyhow, can't you just call the cops? This is identity theft. Let them crank it up a notch.

Let's connect all the state databases they said, It's for your safety they said, we have it all figured out "no Problem they said".................I feel your pain, I went to renew my license a few years back in Florida only to be told I could not because my licence had been suspended in Ga. due to lack of insurance. Never mind that I had not lived in Ga. for ten years. When I called Ga. to straiten it out I was told I would have to come in to get it handled......Bull Shit! It took two weeks and three supervisors to get it worked out. FYI, I did not have insurance in Ga. because I had moved to Montana and USAA saw no reason to inform Ga. of my insurance status. Every time you hear someone say we need more laws or a national I.D......poke them in the eye with a stick.:goob
