I have 2011 Harley-Davidson Sportster 48 1200 c I'm having an ECM issue if I buy another ECM will it be what is compatible to my bike if I purchase another ECM and I just plug it in will I be able to ride will you be able to turn on please I'm on my own here I don't have bike buddies I'm running all this on my own I don't have a service manual yet but I appreciate the help

New ECMs ship blank and need to be installed and programmed at a H-D dealership.
See if there are stored codes. The procedure is a DTC sticky in the electrical section here.

I took my bike to service area at Harley-Davidson Visalia California they ran the diagnostics and told me that my ECM was fried

You had your bike at the H-D dealer and they diagnosed a bad ECM ? So they didn't advise you that the ECM would have to be replaced by a H-D service center and that the ECMs aren't plug n play ?

The ECM for your bike P/N 32534-11 is $357.49 at Ronnie's H-D.

I think you for that information thanks for helping me find one now when I get it I could take it back to Harley-Davidson and they'll flash it for me for the price of $125 at least I'll be riding now thank you much guys appreciate it

The last I heard the ECM has to be installed in the motorcycle for programming. The security system if equipped needs to be disabled and the ignition has to be on.
