Emissions canister conversion

so ive wanted a stash tube for a while now but i wanted something with more of a hidden look (i dont like gaudy add on stuff). So ive decided to try and convert my fuel emmision canister into a stash tube. I only have one question...does the canister have any sort of seam in it exsisting (can it be opened) or would i have to create one.

Cannot e opened. No seam, full of charcoal.
This may sound like a noob question... But what is a fuel emmision canister...catalytic converter?

Is to trap and eliminate fuel vapors prior to being emitted into the atmosphere.

:dunno
Should be covered in the manual.
Pretty sure they are on all cars now. No matter where they are sold. Would think same for bikes.
But probably one of the few emission control components that I do`t believe has any affect on performance.
I have lent my manual out at the moment... I'll look and see if it has one... I don't believe I do though...at least it doesn't look like that

May vary in looks and location by year, make and model.
I sort of like the OP`s idea. Not as obvious as a regular stash tube.
my scoot supposed to have one, HUmmmmm i wonder what happened to it hehehehe
According to Ronnies my 99 FXST would have one. IF it were a Cali bike.
May have changed for newer models for non-Cali bikes. Also in appearance. :dunno
Yea so i looked and no seam so i will be taking a dremel to it and creating something. Im pretty stuck on the idea though so its going to happen haha
