My wife has a 2017 HD Road King Special and it cuts off when it leans too far. Example: We stopped at a light and her foot went into a deep road rut and the bike leaned far, like she was going to drop if, but she caught it and didn’t dump the bike. The engine cut off and hazard lights started blinking. The bike refused to turn on for a minute or two. Is there a fix for this?

It isn't gyroscopic. It senses angle by direction of gravity. When going around corners, centrifugal force makes it think it is still upright.
