Ok, who has a gremilin bell on their bike?

A friend of mine was looking over mine and said, "Don't forget your gremilin bell".
I said, "Do you have one on your Harley?"
He said, "Yep, sure nuff!"
I said "Well it didn't work very well when you dropped that nut into the crankcase the other day." :D

After watching him do that, I'm not sure I need one or not!

Any thoughts?

Not for me. I'm not into that goofy shit. Spending time in the Navy will knock that whole doing things just because it's tradition right outta ya.

And if it all has not been knocked out of you, then why not? Is it hurting anyone?

It doesn't work very well unless someone gives it to you.
That's the secret of the bell.

Mike, Mike, Mike...

Don't you see that REFUSING to do things,
just because they are a tradition,
is a time-honored tradition too?

Now me, I'm going to buy my own bell,
just because I think it's cool,
and then spit whiskey right in the gremlin's eye.

I suppose it would be hard not to put one on if someone gave it to me.

I have heard it is only good if someone gives it to you. I have been riding since 1973 and no one has given me one yet so I guess I have been lucky but I sure wouldn't mine having one.

(Searching for a bell with fringe and conchos, to send to Mike.......)
Several dozen of these bells attached to those "air deflector" rigs that I heard mention of the other day, that wrap around your legs and all with the chain, conchoes and fringe. Now we are getting somewhere. I can see widespread sales on E-bay for some lucky inventor.

That was the first thing my wife got me when I got my bike.
I think the bell is just another touch of you in the bike. There is so many out there is not hard to find one you like.
