Has anyone noticed a whirling noise in the front brake when applied above 30mph????
Thanks

They are fixed. HD says it makes noise when new, not what I was told before but I will see if with more miles it gats better! Now I just have to wait for the thaw.
Thanks

The pads do need to bed into the new rotor. With the materials used in brakes these days, the pads are harder and brake noise like you're discribing, isn't unusual. Once the pads bed into the rotor, they should be quieter, and even grab a bit better. The edges of the rotor's holes will wear down a tad too, making brake noise less noticable.
