I have a 2008 FLSTF with fuel injection. Seems to run fine most of the time with about 34-35 mpg. It has 900 miles on it. Sometimes after riding, I can smell gas fairly strong in the garage. After riding a few blocks the other day, it was shut off for a few minutes, and barely ran when restarting it. It didn't want to rev up and kind of sputtered along at first, then finally ran as it should. Could the fuel be running rich with fuel injection?

Take it in and have them put it on the dyno. That would be the best way to tell whether or not it is running rich.
Your fuel mileage is low if the bike is bone stock.
Fuel smell in a garage is normal. Heated engine, under a tank of fuel. Tank vents to atmosphere. You'll get more "smell" the lower the fuel level is.
You can check for codes yourself, (if any) to see if there's a problem. If the bike noted a vacuum leak, the ECU would go full-rich. However, if it stays full rich and never fluctuates, it'll set a code.
