Firstgear Heated Gear

Unfortunately, fall is pretty much here which means that riding season is drawing to a close with chillier morning and evening commutes. What better way to extend your riding season than with FirstGear heated gear options available from Riders Discount. With items ranging from complete jackets, to sock liners, you’re sure to be warm wearing any of their heated products.

Pictured below is the jacket liner, glove liner, sock liner, main harness, wireless dual heat-troller harness, and a USB charging port that can connect to the Firstgear harness.

Required with any of the FirstGear heated gear is the Heat-Troller kit, offered in both a single or dual thermostat option. The single Heat-Troller allows you to variably control the heat output of one or multiple connected garments such as a jacket and gloves, or jacket and pants liner. A dual Heat-Troller (pictured) allows you to variably control heat between any set of gear. For instance, a dual allows you to maintain heat on the jacket, and simultaneously crank the heat for the gloves, pants, and socks.

Pictured below is the waterproof wireless remote that is pre-paired out of the box. With velcro, or wrist strap mount options, you can keep this tethered around your arm, or mount it to your handlebars.

One of the more common package purchases is the jacket liner and gloves option available from FirstGear. Shown here simply pull the plug from the arm pocket of the liner to easily connect to the glove liner. Purchase the same size liner as your glove size.

Or, if you'd rather just get a full leather glove, we also have the FirstGear Heated Rider Gloves in stock. This also fits true to size and have heating elements in the fingers, thumb, and back of the hand. An optional “Passenger Glove” has the added feature of a heated palm.

Rubber wiper sewn in to aid in wiping your shield of any moisture.

Mix and match any option to suit your needs.

For more information about this kit, or any of the other FirstGear heated apparel, be sure to give Brad a call at 866.931.6644 ext. 810. Is email more convenient? Feel free to send those to FORUM at RIDERSDISCOUNT dot COM and we’ll get back to you right away!

Also available as an optional accessory for the FirstGear heated apparel is the USB power adapter you can plug into the harness to safely charge or power any of your mobile devices.

Or, if you already have an SAE connector, most commonly seen with battery tender harnesses, you can easily plug in the Heat-Troller to the existing harness off your battery to save from the hassle of adding additional wiring.

To order your heated gear, simply give call Brad at 866.931.6644 ext. 810 today!

The key to any of this heated gear, I speak for Gerbing's cause that's what I have..I think they are the best..but that's just me...the key is GET A GOOD FIT ! you have to go get fitted for the right size..all people are not the same..you have to get the RIGHT size pant liners, and jacket liners, gloves, socks and such..a good dealer will measure you like you where buying a suit for a weding or something..you try it on make sure it fit's right..heated gear is great !! heated gear is EXPENSIVE !!but they stand behind there product..and they will last you for many..many..years if you take care of them...just my 2 cents..

You suppose the TSA will take my measurements the next time they feel me up before getting on a plane?

Depends on whether he/she is keen on taking a ride on the Kainam express.
I have 1st. gear dual heat Troller Gloves & vest, works great. I saw a Gerbing Jacket at HD dealer I liked you don't have to wear anything over it.
I just wear my HD jacket (could wear my leather coat)over the heated vest if I get cold I just reach up turn the knob a little. have the Troller mounted on handle bars so I can see it & easy to adjust.

When you say you saw Gerbing at the HD dealer did you also purchase the Gerbing jacket? If so, how does it compare?

.What you want is the "jacket liner" Gerbing also has controllers you can permanent mount, so it makes it very easy..with the jacket liner plugs into your gloves works great..
did not buy, just tried it on, felt kind of thick & bulky didn't fit soft & snug like my vest.
I have never seen a Harley dealer that had a decent selection of heated gear yet...most have some mix and match..ect...ect...find a true Gerbing dealer and they will have racks of just pant liners, racks of jacket liners in all different sizes so you can get each piece that fits right...and around here the best dealer by far is the big Honda dealer in Allen Tx...if you look around the BMW or Honda dealer will have the best selection...
Do any of them make riding coveralls? I want like a heated jumpsuit I can just put on over my work clothes, ride to work, & then peel it off ready to work. I hate having to get dressed to ride/work 3 or 4 times a day!!!
