I apologize in advance if this is a repost or it has been discussed already but I couldn't find any information about it

Has anyone installed floorboards on a breakout, pics? Instructions? How hard was it?

Your feedback is well appreciated. Thank you

I think they would drag too much. I am already dragging my pegs and occasionally the primary so I would be surprised if they didn't cause a problem. I do miss the floor boards on my Heritage so I will be watching this for some guidance also.

I'm no softail expert but, the frame on the breakout should have the same mount points as any other softail so mounting them up should be easy.

I would do some measuring though, as stated, lean angle could be impaired. Softails are already limited, in this respect.

I've used kuryakyn mini floorboards with success, they are slightly narrower than stock pegs and mount slightly higher, so they may actually give a little more lean angle. While also giving your foot more area to rest on.
