So I took my 2000 FLHT in to have a set of Progressive lowering springs put in the forks. The dealer called me later and said that they need to order a conversion kit to do it because I have air forks on that year bike. What is there to convert , I thought the seals, etc were the same? Progressive doesn't list any special kits that are needed to swap the springs, nor does Harley.....so whats the deal?

I don't know, but I had them put on my 2005 Electra Glide a few months ago and just needed new seals. And that was doing chrome lowers at the same time. Had an indy do it though.

I don't remember needing a special conversion kit to do that.
I'm interested about what the result will be.

I spent about 45 minutes yesterday on the Progressive site, and googling fork springs. I came up with nothin'. Should be drop in.
