Forward controls or Highway pegs?

What've you got and why? I have mid controls on my bike and on long rides I'd like to be able to stretch out a bit.

I've found these...

Adjustable Highway Peg Support Kit

But for a bit more £$£ I could get these...

Forward Control Kit for Sportster Models

I did have some clamp on highway pegs on my engine guard but I didn't like em.

Harley sure do charge a lot to let you modify your bike don't they!?
Hey Graham... You mention desiring an ability to stretch out a bike on longer rides. What about all those rides of shorter duration. You still want forward controls?

Forward controls prevent that pegs-on-the-engine-guards look you don't like, and you will stretch the limbs out a bit. Downside is they cost a bit more and you will have them for every ride (which isn't necessarily a drawback). Highway pegs can be discretely folded up in alignment with the engine guards and you can just unfold them when on long motorway stints. I see + and - with each option. :)
