Not by a lot but yes, the front will inherently run cooler than the rear, it gets more wind than the rear, that's just the nature of an air-cooled V-twin engine. Guess it depends on what you mean by "a lot". Static and unmoving, they should be about the same temperature.

Kinda like my wife is hotter than I am while we're out riding.
In fact............. she's just flat out hotter than I am no matter where we are, lol. (Talking looks, not menopause, lol.)
