Yesterday’s rural ride around Cheshire here in the U.K. turned sour. For no reason (always the case), I noticed fuel leaking from the QD connection of my 2010 FLHTCU.
Tied a cloth around it and headed home.

Online videos show this is a common fault and mostly it is the lower O-ring in the check valve so this will be my first fix. The fuel tool is expensive but for this seal not really an issue. Others say a 1/4” deep well socket will help push fit it in place a new one.
With the virus lockdown everywhere and shops closed, I will try and source online. Shipping costs from the US are more than the product price so will try here.

Anybody have the sizes?

I am told the upper and lower seals in the check valve are different sizes as well.

Thanks for your help.

From my old files: McMaster part #is -905 (if you have McM over there. Oring dimensions are .414 inside, .558 outside, thickness .072. In a pinch, you can get an oring that just fits into the bore, leave the old ring in place and use the male barb to push the new oring into place.
