hello all

i have had a bad day, i was stripping my 04 road king down
to clean up under everything and laid my gas tank on a shop stool
and it fell about 2 foot and put a great big dent in the side of the tank so i am hunting a new tank, any suggestion on where
to get a new tank would be great, i have not called my local dealer yet, but was hoping for a nice used one, it had a custom piant job
on it, thats gonna hurt.

If there's no crease in it, can't it be popped back out?

If your gonna repaint it you can stud weld pull it very fast with the studwelder so you dont ruin the tank liner and while your pulling on the stud very lightly!!tap the crown with a light hammer and it should come right out then repaint...
