[Ol Sportster]

Just found this site and it looks like fun. Been riding since 1974 - yes I'm old but still young enough to ride!

Picked up a beautiful 1998 95th Anniversary Sporty 1200C that has less than 1000 miles on it - clean as a whistle. Been adding chrome like there was no tomorrow (just ask my wife). Finding all kinds of 95th Anniversary stuff on ebay and found that if you look hard enough you can get some REALLY good deals if you know your way around ebay.

I've added new Avon tires, all the chrome goodies from front to back, bags, and the best thing was a new "Killer" CV Carb that added about 10 hp and a bunch of torque. Just having a great time riding. :cheers:

The CV carb is highly underrated. It's a dependable carb for daily use.

I've owned both S&S and Mikuni carbs, and although I loved my S&S, my CV does a fine job for my bike. It's no hot rod. I enjoy reliability more then a ton of HP.
