No Juice!

Hi! With switch on...do you have horn or lights? If not, check battery connections and ground from battery to frame. If you have lights or horn, check "run/off" switch on bars. It should be in run position. If still nothing with switch in run position, need to see if there is juice to the starter solenoid. Also check to see that there is juice to the starter.
My ElectraGlide would do that every now and again. I WOULD have lights and horn, but no juice to the starter. Turns out that the neg batt cable was just loose enough for everything to get juice except the stater. Tightened her down real good, no more problems. I'm not saying this is your issue, but this is what happens to mine. Ten minutes, one wrench, problem solved. Good luck.

Your starter will still get juice. Just not enough to crank the bike.
Takes more to do that then run lights.

Had the exact same problem on the same year and model yesterday afternoon. Took me a while to figure out the negative terminal was loose.

I keep a log book on all my maintenance. Once a year, pull battery. Check starter bat cable, grounds and battery posts. In fact I did it yester day.
check the kill switch

Well, what was the cause of the problem?

OP is probably a one and done. We may never know.
Musta been the on/off switch on the handlebar dummie !
Softails also have a relay at the bottom of the rear fender, at the frame, under the oil tank. Known for going. You can jump it to start bike.....

But.....it doesn't matter now. He posted 3 days ago. If he's still at the pumps, he's either a moron, or dead by now....
That's bs u answer the op question and never hear from him again until he has another problem.:feedback:
