Bought an old hamcan for this project on eBay for .99 the other day - straight, but the chrome was shot. I used some air tools where I work to cut an opening in the front, and then I sandblasted the rust and the remainder of the chrome off of it. Here are a few pics...

Not really, although it seems to have a little more oomph when accelerating from about 70 mph and up. The performance gain came earlier with the SE air cleaner, and the mod to the cover was mainly for looks.

I cannot figure out what this is for the life of me , I bought my bike with top end, exhaust, intake dissembled. All the parts were basically there I’m still in the process of assembly. Top end all the way up to the rocker boxes are completed so far. Thanks!
Go spend 2 dollars at Tractor Supply and get a veterinary syringe. Then go to an auto part store and spend a dollar for about a foot of flexible see through rubber tubing to fit on the syringe.
