Probably just needs to be rebuilt. There are some good posts in the suspension section. The progressive cartridges for the forks just might be your answer. Good reports on them with good results and easy to install.
Harsh ride
I ride an 07 ultra with 36k miles on it. The front suspension seems to be very harsh when hitting bumps or rough road. Has anyone had this issue ? Is there anything common I should look for ? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

07. Cartridges. Hd recommends oil change at 50k.
Check tire psi. But fluid change isn't a bad idea.
