Having a knocking noise from the compensator area after replacing stator? Any advice? It’s a 2013 Tri glide.

I replaced the stator on my 2013 tri glide put all back together now I have a knocking noise from around the compensator area. Any advice?

S&S compensator ramp. There are others. Darkhorse Man O War is a nice alternative.

Why? He doesn’t know what is wrong yet.

It could be the primary chain is slapping the case as the self adjuster hasn't adjusted the chain yet. Go for a ride and see if it gets quieter.
