so long story short the Battery Tender Jr and The HD battery Tender are near identically internally. I recently had to replace a capacitor in my Battery tender Jr, an Buddy of mine has the HD version and I gave him an extra capacitor that I had that also repaired his. Depends on the particular charger. HD used to have Deltran supply their Battery Tenders, now they use Noco as their supplier.so long story short the Battery Tender Jr and The HD battery Tender are near identically internally. Don't make the same mistake I did! Hooked it up, waited a couple weeks for a nice day, unhooked it and tried to start bike. Nothing. WTF? Then I noticed my tender has a 6 volt setting. Yep, I was charging a 12 volt battery with 6 volts!
