Has anyone found a Bluetooth headset (or ear buds) that will pair up with a 2015 Boom Infotainment system (2015 Tri Glide FLHTCUTG)? I'm trying to cut the cord.

I have tried an older SoundID 510 ear piece and a new LG TonePro with no joy. I obviously have to use the manual setup and put in a PIN (usually 0000), but neither pair under any circumstances.

It does pair with my Windows Phone (Lumina 950) just fine, but I ride to get away from my worldly connections and don't care to have any phone connected.

Help?

HD Boom Infotainment & Bluetooth Headsets

Nope... Look at:

But there is a workaround I developed so you can make and receive phone calls:

There may be some hardware fixes, but they involve buying more hardware, making up pigtails/buying adapter cords, but never simple, conclusive fix.

Until Harley comes out with their own Bluetooth headset (which also implies a firmware update to the radio to add headset profile to the Bluetooth stack) I do not see this situation changing.

A source at Sena has hinted that they have a development project to rectify this, but it was put on hold because of some of the new products coming out.

Now that the 10C intercom/camera and some of their other new stuff has hit the streets, this project may be readdressed.
