Different dealers have different discounts, I was wondering what kind of discount you guys get.

Right now I can get 15% of parts/ clothing...can it go higher then that..anyone get a better rate?

Sometimes during open house they give 20% or during Vet day 20% is the highest I've seen.

20% discount is as good as I've seen . If your local Dealer will not discount , try online with free shipping and no sales tax either ,20% off.

I get 20% off anytime I set foot in the door of my HD dealer....for life I was told.

I got dealer cost when I bought my latest bike last year.

It helps that my little brother is the General sales manager. :)

My dealer give nothing. He makes a big deal over his lap points. For every 250.00 you spend he gives you back $25.00 to spend in his store. Now thats a whooping big deal. Right.

It's the same as 10% off. If you are going to buy there more than once.

Use to get 20% for years. At my favorite dealer. And pick thru all the take off stuff. Picked up some great deals there. Then HD said that they could not sell on the internet. Ended that and with with new owners don't even get the 20% They do the buy bucks. Spend so much get a coupon. With four bikes and doing work for friends I can spend a lot of $ there. Looking for new favorite dealer.

My dealer does that too however, if you are a member of the local H.O.G. Chapter you get another 15% on meeting nights (which are held at the dealer).

Additionally I've gotten over 3K in gift cards since Sept 2012 for doing things like leading demo rides when the H.D. trucks come through (like I wouldn't ride everything they brought all weekend for nothing, the gift cards just make up for having to deal with the 50% that are total morons).

I also get a 200 dollar gift card for each person I refer that buys a bike. Only thing with that is, the people I take in there are friends and I don't do it for money and give them the cards to buy that air pump, service manual, or in the case of the last one was just enough more to let him get those slip ons. That alone was another 1000 bucks since 2012.

My dealer also donates heavily to any poker run or charitable event we've ever approached them on. So what if it's gift cards, motorclothes or bike rentals it's still something of value.

Personally I think my dealer is more than generous in giving back to their customers and the community.

There are plenty of dealers out there that do 15% don't get suckered. I will always buy at the HD shop when possible for warranty issues.

I have a Boom Audio speaker blow out and it was instantly replaced for free. I'm sure there are more stories out there like that.
