My dealer give nothing. He makes a big deal over his lap points. For every 250.00 you spend he gives you back $25.00 to spend in his store. Now thats a whooping big deal. Right.
My dealer does that too however, if you are a member of the local H.O.G. Chapter you get another 15% on meeting nights (which are held at the dealer).
Additionally I've gotten over 3K in gift cards since Sept 2012 for doing things like leading demo rides when the H.D. trucks come through (like I wouldn't ride everything they brought all weekend for nothing, the gift cards just make up for having to deal with the 50% that are total morons).
I also get a 200 dollar gift card for each person I refer that buys a bike. Only thing with that is, the people I take in there are friends and I don't do it for money and give them the cards to buy that air pump, service manual, or in the case of the last one was just enough more to let him get those slip ons. That alone was another 1000 bucks since 2012.
My dealer also donates heavily to any poker run or charitable event we've ever approached them on. So what if it's gift cards, motorclothes or bike rentals it's still something of value.
Personally I think my dealer is more than generous in giving back to their customers and the community.
