Here is a link to RJS Originals. http://www.rjsoriginals.com/
They do look good to me as someone who has never experienced the problem. Being 5'6" on a RKC I think I'll feel the heat fast as my legs will be in close to the frame.

Do you have them on your ride?
Does anyone else recommend them?

Seems to me that those would just trap the heat near the rear head....

When you are stopped they hold the heat and keep it from coming up.

When you are moving they channel air around the rear cylinder to help cool it.

I have the Kuryaken, smoked shields and I love them. Much cheaper (about half the price) and do the same job.

From what I was told the design is intended to shield the rider when not in motion and to direct the heat down and back when in motion. I haven't the requisite technical knowledge to know if that is true, but when you look at the shape it does seem plausible.

Edit: Oops! Just read Dinero No Mas' post.

Kuryaken Heat Sheilds

I have a set of Kuryaken clear heat shields for my '05 Ultra that I was very happy with. I have just put on true duals and don't need them anymore as there is less heat now that the pipes are further away from my thighs. I'll sell them cheap.
