Helmets are for protection best to go with 3/4 or full face. I have 1/2 helmet also don't like it.

I had an acorn hit me dead center in the face, my shield was down no damage to me or the shield.

If that's you in the avatar way take a chance a damage a pretty face.

i have a half helmet with a rasta wig glued to it to mess with the summer bicycle (Gay) cops in tha summer...heheheYou should try it..

This one caught my eye a long time ago and I haven't been able to get the idea of buying it out of my mind...so I'm thinking new bike, new helmet. Any excuse!! I guess I was kinda hoping you all would tell me it looks stupid, then I would be less inclined to go for it.

I am assuming It has the full core that all DOT helmets have, Only concern I have is the bottom edge looks kinda sharp and I can't see the top edge under the face shield. Also I trust the old double D rings for the chin strap and I can lock the helmet to the bike with a D ring,,I'm not to shure about the plastic buckle that helmet has...Hey You Asked!! The Dragon helmet has a quick release type strap, which I prefer, but good point about no D ring to lock the helmet to the bike. I didn't even notice that. My other AGV has both. It is DOT. Hmmm...
