Modulars are nice but mine has a little more wind noise that I care for. But to be able to flip up the whole face in low wind situations is nice...... said the man that's worn it twice.

I can't see putting faith in a helmet that's designed to flip up....kinda like using a switchblade as a crutch...

I'm on my second HJC CL-MAX and would recommend that, especially if riding without a windshield. Anything exposed to the wind is going to get hit by rocks and bugs, so if you don't want welts and to be picking insects out of your teeth, I'd suggest a full face shield. Mine is a flip up face which means the whole front of the thing flips up by pushing a switch on the chin. It makes it a lot easier to put on. ~$180 HJC CL-MAX Reviews | HJC Helmets Forum

I'm not one for helmets, however on those cross country journeys where the laws change from state to state it great to have a helmet thats comfortable as can be. I made the mistake of going cheap just because i hate wearing them...feels like i'm being strangled going down the hwy doing 65. Get wat you pay for:)

As a rider it is a tough call on how we want to look as we ride. I bought a full face helmet, while it is a little warm in the summer months I'll keep wearing it. I have been down once and the area of the helmet that was damaged was right frontal jaw. Without FF protection I would be looking at months of healing. With it I can buy another helmet and keep riding.

I have a H-D white w/ red flames 3/4. In GA we have bugs
galore :eek and some rough and graveled two lanes :cussing, and this

helmet has saved me numerous times :nod. I just bought a HJC

half-helmet w/shield but haven't been able to use it yet.

Whatever yer payin for any of em its to much, way over priced ,helmet makers are makin a killin. Plastic or fiber shell and some styrafoam WTF:laugh

I have that Helmet

$295 might be worth it. That is a cool helmet :drool
But not the cool paint job,,I dig the Helmet,,light, nice visor's the face latch is Metal,,VERY important. Fit Is critical tho,,I had help, got mine right,,I got a fat head,,,the only negative,,,and this is also with me not tryin many other flipface helmets is IMO It is a bit noisy,,wind and such,,Ear plugs are a must on the interstate. Mines black with some silver reflective stuff an yes It's says Harley on it,,,I guess I'm a poser. Now all I need Is my kick start boots and my chain drive wallet:cool

the first and third were awesome, the 2nd not so much. my opinion anyway.

but the problem with these VERY decorative helmets is this: I wouldn't want to wear them riding. I'd be PO'd if something hit and took a chunk of paint with it.

You guys are so crazy! I like it though...makes me laugh. :rollin

The Dragon helmet has a quick release type strap, which I prefer, but good point about no D ring to lock the helmet to the bike. I didn't even notice that. My other AGV has both. It is DOT. Hmmm...

It's only $95.99 on this site with free shipping.

Buy it babe....for that money what the hell.
Even if you only use it a few times, it's fun.
