Hello, I’m new to the sub and apologize in advance if I posted this incorrectly.

I’ve been looking into finding an LED tail light for my 2012 XL1200C with the 4.5 gallon tank.
I’ve included a picture of the bike.
Neither my shop, or Revzilla or the Harley website had anything that would work

Was a Tech Advisor for a while on a computer help site.
Our favorite saying was, "Hang on. Let me google that for you".

2012 XL 1200C has a different tail light than the normal 1 size fits all standard tail light.

Easy answer, no there are no tail lights that will fit that bike other than the OEM tail light unless you also switch to a standard rear fender that the other Sportsters use.

The OEM tail light IS LED however.

I honestly do not know. Not one size fits all <click

It's listed as one.
But no idea if it's the right one for the application.

I just enlarged the OP's picture. The brake light I last posted is not right for his application.
His current one closely resembles the more standard one.
However. It's been posted that the OEM tail light is already LED.
I'm now very confused.

Thank you, you actually had a useful answer instead of all these pricks that don’t think I know how to use Google. Clearly everyone who said Google or Amazon was talking out their ass. Such disrespect over a simple request. Thank you.
Excuse me...but did I just hear a fart?

Check Drag Specialties. Your local dealer should be a vendor.

I've just done this mod on my 2008 1200R i found some OEM rear led side, stop indicator lights. Modified the wiring and fitted 2019 rear fender with side mount plate holder.

If you've removed your original light and replaced it with the LED light pictured. You may have to modify your wiring as there is a module in the old lamp that needs looping into your side light (Orange with white trace wire) if its the same as what i had to do. But i lost key recognition and no rear lights would work.

In the UK the rear led indicators that act as run / stop / turn have 3 elements to them because we are not allowed to have red indicators. The lights have 4 wires and is programmable in the BCM.

In the US they are allowed to have red indicators so the run / stop / turn is managed with 2 elements. When the brake is pressed both sides light up bright. When the indicator is turned on that side flashes.

2014 up bikes this is all handled by the BCM prior to that there is a module to do it.

As for the OP I don't know why if your lamp is faulty you cannot just get another, part #69352-11A .
