Help me identify this scoot model please

Friend of mine inherited this from a family member. Has no clue what it is. Sorry, the pic is crappy, but my initial guess was an '82 Sportster. Any other insights?

he doesn't have the title. No clue why not. he's working on it.

Engine number will tell exactly what it was from the factory .

If it has chain final drive = 82 FXR
If it has belt final drive = 83 FXR

84 up were EVOs.
