What ever you do, do not air up with a compressor. Use the hand pump from HD works great. Run 25 solo 40 psi loaded.

On my 2005 Ultra I ran mine at 28PSI riding alone or with two of us, 400lbs. I know the street glide shocks are shorter than the Ultras so that may change how much air you run in them. I do know if it falls below 22PSI I can tell the difference. Also Flemed is right, make sure you use a hand pump or you will ruin your shocks. It doesn't take much to fill them.

The Harley hand pump works great. Read the owners manual for the pressure range. On my '08 Ultra when solo I run 10lbs. Packed up with the o' lady 16lbs.
