Indy, guess I'll never have the problem of my wife being jabbed by my carry gun cause she doesn't like to ride. But...., if she did ride and if my gun was poking her I could easily re-position the gun. Check out this holster from Holsterama. You can wear it with or without a belt, inside or outside your waistband, left or right handed, small of your back or kidney area. They make this holster in two sizes. I have both sizes and can fit most any gun I want to carry in one or the other. Most versatile holster I have ever seen and I just bought another one within the last week as a Christmas gift. $19.99 and no tax and no shipping.
No, I don't work for this company but I am just so impressed with their belt slide holster (they make other types as well) I like to make folks aware of them.
One thing to mention: Since a portion of the gun muzzle is exposed and I am left handed and like to carry cross draw, I have to be careful when wearing jeans cause the rivets in the small "watch pocket" as I call it on Levi's will rub on the muzzle if I don't place the holster just right.
