How to remove oil pressure line

My oil pressure line was leaking real bad so I decided it was probably a good idea to replace it. I took off the forward exhaust pipe and was able to remove the oil line from that side just fine. However the top part of the line right under the oil filter adapter is a pain to get to. I tried between the frame and can get a little bit of a turn but not enough to flip the wrench and continue. What is the proper way to remove that part of the hose? Should I remove the oil sensor that's under there to get to the hose from the left side of the bike? Should I remove the right side motor mount and go that route? Any help would be extremely appreciated. I need to get the bike running again to get out of the shop i work at and out of the way of the new lift going in.

The bike is a 99 sportster 1200
