2005 FXD.

Tire is specified as a 100/90-19

How wide can I go before I rub on something? I like a fatter look.

I'm of the same opinion. I would think that going down in wheel size to an 18 ($$) would help get more width before rubbing. But I know nothing about it. When my front tire needs replacing I want to go as big as possible.

To go any "real" amount wider, you'll have to replace the triple tree, stem and fender. To increase the width between the fork tubes. Going to a smaller wheel diameter won't gain you any width.

Dang. I was hoping to get a slightly fatter look. Guess I'll have to work on getting that springer front end and have it setup up for a fat front.
