Just signed up cause just found this site. Living the good life in Hot Springs, Ar.

Was just given a 2003 Heritage and put a new Mustang seat and trying to put new grips on it. Replaced the original cables with SS braided but when installing the new grips or old ones, throttle won't snap back. I saw a thread on here that said put a good lubricant on the plastic part that fits inside the control housing.

Any recommendations for the lubricant?

What wonkey said ^^^^^^^^^^^ Also make sure the throttle lock screw on the bottom of the switch housing is loosen off.
If that thumb screw is semi tight, it will stop the trottel from closing. (some folks use that as a sorta cruise control. Not the safest way to do it. Nor it's intended purpose)
