Daydreaming about putting together a weekend ride and I couldn't help but notice an interesting road, state hwy 191 that runs mostly N-S on the eastern side of Arizona. Looks like a lot of curves etc. Anyone with experience on that road or possibly others in eastern AZ that is worth the trip?

Used to be called 666 the devil's highway. It's a nice scenic road, was even better before the big fire. It starts out in Morenci and actually goes through the copper mine.

Yes, lot's a of turns. Takes hours to go 45 miles. If you run it in Aug-Sept you'll experience the most radical temp changes I've ever seen. It was 100+ at the southern end when we started. The gals were cooking on the back of the bikes. An hour or so later we're digging out the rain gear and pushing through rain, hail and freezing rain.

Takes you into Alpine. The Tal-Wi-Wi lodge is a nice biker friendly place to stay the night.
