SANTA FE SPRINGS, Calif. - Vance & Hines settled in January with the California Air Resource Board to pay a penalty of $500,000 for selling, prior to Jan. 1, 2013, emissions-related parts not approved by the board.

The exhaust maker has taken actions to ensure no further enforcement related to the parts befalls dealers or customers.

According to the notice posted on the ARB website, the board applied the penalty to about 2,000 units at about $250 per unit.

Y'all should come to Kentucky. We ain't perfect but no one will hassle you over your damn mufflers. And you can buy all the assault rifles and 30-round mags you want. And our CCDW permit system is pretty easy but you don't need no stinkin permit to OPEN CARRY. And our taxes are much lower than yours.

Hey, just having a lil fun--don't mean to offend anyone. But if I was in CA and wasn't locked in because of family or something like that I would sure be looking to move somewhere else.

Have them delivered to Nod and pick them up at Collision III. We'll have them installed in no time.

Oregon and Washington state may not be much better. The entire left coast is just that . . . LEFT.

It may be a shorter move if you go one state to the right.

Oh and btw, Rush pipes are awesome, I have the 2.0 on my bike.

I was just looking at jobs in Kentucky today. Trying to talk the wife into getting the hell out of NY, and heading for Kentucky or Tennessee.

Commiefornia laws eventually trickle down the taint, and into NY, so it won't be long before it's just as bad here.

If you talk your credit card company into allowing it, you can drop ship them to my company and I will UPS them to you in Cali.......

They tried to steal my smoking wood in California. I was heading home from Havasu and had to go through Cali.... coming in there was not a stop.... The told me my oak and hickory were going to be confiscated. I explained I was out of Cali in 6 miles or so.... they did not care. I told them I am not giving you the wood. They made me turn around and drive almost 20 miles back (Through Cali) and go out through Arizona......

Following year I put it all in a Job Box and told them I have nothing...

I hate the state.... anything I can do to help you get them I will.

Pick western Kentucky and you'll get to see the Chicago contingent more often. My camper is about half way between Diezel and Paducah.

Just get a friend to buy them and ship them to you.

Come to ohio! I'll be hiring in April!

Come January 16 the state wants to raise the gas tax. Any where from a few cents to a max $1.35. Depends how many effin liberal demorats get there way. Bunch of pole smokers.

From just reading a few articles, seems to me CA could raise the gas tax $5 a gallon and that still wouldn't slow down the economic spiral they are in. Spend, spend, spend and tax, tax, tax until ALL the taxpaying citizens bail.

Both areas are beautiful, pristine and conservative. The weather is mild too.

It's a slower pace than NY and that will take some getting used to. But when you look out side the house or car window, it's actually beautiful.

There will be a feeling of being away from hard core civilization and landing in an earlier era. Somewhere between 1960 and 1990, which for me would be desirable.


You'll have to get used to a new lingo . . . . y'all. You'll also have to get used to very courteous and helpful strangers.

You guys are killing me with lust to move the hell out of here. I really appreciate all of your response and comments. I don't take offense to anything you say about Cali.
I have a brother in law in Benton Ky, he moved out of Cali 10 years ago and don't miss it at all. I just might take him up on hanging around Benton for a few weeks to check it out. Cisco I think your right Ebay is the way to go, I will try it and see what happens.
Better not say that too loud though, the azzbites in our Capitol might get wind of Ebay selling illegal mufflers.
