Question: what is the difference between Twin Cam and Milwaukee Eight?
Back story: I’m retired now and wanted a touring bike for comfort on long rides. I sold my 2012 Heritage (my third Harley) and bought a 2016 Ultra Limited FLHTK. This bike only had 9000 miles and already had V&H Power Duals with slip ons. I figured to complete the stage one by installing an HD high flow air cleaner and have it tuned like I had done for my last two Softails. Picked up the air cleaner from my local HD where I bought the bike, told them 2016 FLHTK, went home. Took bike to neighbor’s garage (he races motorcycles), removed tank, pulled old air cleaner, compared throttle body to new backing plate, not even close. Luckily, local HD had the correct part so installed and all is well. Morale of the story… pay more attention when picking up parts….

M8 didn't come out until 2017 in the Touring models, it went back to a single cam, and has 4 valves per cylinder in the heads, increasing total airflow and port velocity, making more efficient torque and horsepower.
