Stop in and see this place.

Barber : Home

I was in Tennessee so I figured that was close enough. :)

I spent about five hours there and feel like I haven't seen it all.

Would love to go back for their annual vintage bike races.

Beautiful building too. Took over a hundred pics I've got to sort through. The museum is a non-profit org so the admission is a very fair $15. I highly recommend!

After the museum check out the Bass Pro Shop next door. It has the fanciest grounds of any BP Shop I've ever seen. Unfortunately with fancy pricing to match.

I've been to the Barber Museum and intend to go back. Unbelievable collection of motorcycles, and that's not all of it. A must see if you're in the area, and a good excuse for a road trip if you're not.

I've been to the vintage races at Barber 4 times. It's a beautiful track, built in an old strip mine. Beautiful places to watch all around the track. The swap meet is great too, it covers about 10 acres.

With stops for gas and eats it took me almost 14 hours to get back home from there. If I was closer they'd get tired of seeing me!

Maybe I should move there since I'm retired and I could volunteer a few days per week.

Now to convince the wife....
