Aye! I bought a couple tools to help get the alignment and tension just right. Also bought a can of permatex belt conditioner to soak the belt with. I'll clean the belt well first with some dish soap and a toothbrush.They will squeak if belt is not adjusted right.

My 87 FXST uses a 70 tooth sprocket. If I put a ,65 tooth sprocket on will it increase the speed or not. Right now I'm pushing RPM,s to drive 65 or aboveHere is a thought used one on Ebay $ 77 bucks
