Me too Greg
I take 30..... It may take 10 extra minutes to cross Indiana but 10 minutes is well worth $32!!
Gonna make you really happy: Government geniuses have decided that the tax on gasoline is not generating enough revenue (since cars have been mandated to get better mileage lately) so they will be loosening the regs concerning tolls on interstate routes in the states. Plan on toll booths everywhere in the next few years.
Indiana already has a higher per gallon fuel tax over ohio. Gas here was $3.39 Indiana was $3.50 just tonight 20 miles apart.
This is why were running out of money for roads ,

That looks like UK's PSA (Property Services Agency), aka People Standing Around.

Say is isn't so...afraid you are right though.

In NC, we are among the top of the list for gas taxes, so our gubner decided to tax the hybrids and the fuel saving cars extra upon purchase because they wouldn't be paying as much tax in gas.
Almost sounds reasonable to do that since they will be using the roads but paying less to do so....but then, it is a tax, and as such will get pi$$ed away on something useless to be sure.

Guess he hasn't thought about taxing bicycles yet.

That is a guarantee. Money from personalized plates was to be used to plant flowers along the highways....still collecting the money...the flowers are long gone.

That I would like to see...bicycles around here think they do own the road, will not budge for any vehicle, I would call them the rudest on the road.
Kinda don't make sense. Areas with millions of people paying all kinds of taxes have toll roads. Areas with less population, have nice free roads.
I guess that poster above is not a joke.
No joke Breeze, and it don't make no sense.
Indiana sold its toll road to a private/foreign corporation. They suck at maintaining it. Its rough as hell, big holes and bumps. The patches look like some one threw asphalt down and stomped on it flatten it out. The traffic is horrible. Big trucks...70mph mixed with cars trying to go 90mph.

The rest of Indiana roads suck as well. But yet our goober announced a $2 billion surplus that he is going to keep as a reserve...and just sit on it. 2 BILLION DOLLARS!
Better than a 16 trillion dollar deficit.
Have you guys seen the lousy patch work on 30 for about 15 miles starting just east of I65 and going towards Valaraiso? It's literally a washboard with hundreds and hundreds of perpendicular asphalt snakes and patched holes..
When I started driving Bigrigs, I vowed to never run toll roads! Had to a few times but, the company had EZpass so I didn't have to dig in my pockets!
