Installing air cleaner

Remove Allen and tale cover off OEM unit.
Remove 3 retaining bolts and cover mount.
Remove 2 breather bolts.

Tie up California emissions plug. I cap them too.

Install base plate, O-rings, headbolts and hardware. Locktite blue is used on hardware.

Install loose and align before tightening.

Install snorkel. These have a semi hidden bolt. Protect aluminum to prevent damage. Install air filer and wala.

Except I am with you up until the installation of the "wala"...
Does the wala need locktite?

Wala's are only sold in pairs and are manufactured in Washington.

Great pictures. Better than American Iron magazine. That Calif. Emissions plug must be on newer bikes than my 09.
