Just spent the last 20 Minutes trying to get mine to work, I have a 5s, and unfortunately all I have is a shared frustration with SMS. that being said, every other part of the Phone pairing is right on, just no text. It would be nice to have that auto-reply go out on the longer rides. 1st World Problems!
iPhone 5s and Boom 6.5 on a 2014SGS
Has anyone gotten text messages to display on the Boom screen or auto-reply when connected to a iPhone 5s?
Customer Service at the MoCo says it should. The local dealer is useless on the issue.
I know it is seeing into my phone. I can look at my contacts list. But when I check the text log I get a "sms failed to sync" message on the Boom.
And whomever hijacks this thread into the good or bad of reading a text on the bike can kiss ...:mooning:

Ok, so I just picked up my iPhone 5S and it will not connect via the USB. It works ok via Bluetooth, but connected via USB just displays the phone name and "Reading" simultaneously. The phone mutes, like it's connecting, but has no display or audio on the 6.5. My 4S seemed to work fine. Any thoughts or recommendation who to contact. Dealer has no info and Apple said they took it as far as they can. HELP!

Auto reply will not work due to a restriction by Apple.
Let me know how you make out and if it can be resolved. I hope I'm not sorry for trading in my 4S. At least that one worked when it was plugged inmine does not connect either. HD Customer Service said it should.Auto reply will not work due to a restriction by Apple.
you have to go into the profile on the phone and select show notifications ,worked for me it now reads my text to me i've not tried replying though
Doesn't matter auto reply on an apple product WILL NOT work no matter what moco says.I look forward to a full report.

Mine reads messages but will not reply due to Apple not allowing SMS through Bluetooth. I had to turn on an option in the phone to allow Bluetooth notifications. But it will not allow you to reply.

Where's the option to allow Bluetooth Notifications? Looked in all the likely places on the phone and can't find it.
Under Bluetooth. Choose h-d radio and turn on show notifications. That's how I had to get mine working.
