It really is too late and I am already hooked on my new 2006 Road Glide. Got a good deal according to NADA and Kelly, but the question is stuck in the back of my mind. Is 82k too many and is there anything I should be watching for. Came tensioners were replaced and dealer did new brakes as well as several gaskets. Bike is very clean and strong.

If she was well maintained should get well over 100,000 miles.
All that matters is that you love the bike and she runs strong.

Just ride. No worries. You should be honored to have a bike with miles like that. Too few bikes see the insides of a garage than the open road.

I've got a buddy who has 140K on his and he rides all over for 2 or 3 days at a time. I am constantly hearing of bikes with over 100k. Congratulations!!

Like the others said, no sweat on the miles. Lots of friends with big miles. Keep up on the maintenance and you'll stay happy.

The only problem on bikes with that mileage is resale. But if you are hooked, and are keeping it, and you keep up with the maintenance, and overhaul, as needed, Harleys are built to go hundreds of thousands of miles.
