They used to sell one -- not sure if they still do -- that mounted on a plate that fastened through the rocker box cover bolts. That would fit about any bike, wouldn't it?

They're pretty universal. You just screw the sensor in the pan and run the wiring to the gauge. As long as you can mount it where you want it, it should work. On my Heritage, I just used the dip stick with a thermometer in the top of it. It worked great for me.

Oil Temp Guage

They should make one for the Street Glides to insert them into the ambient temperature gauge. Really, who needs to know the outside temp, how important is that Harley...

They do make one exactly as you describe.

On my Heritage, I just used the dip stick with a thermometer in the top of it. It worked great for me.

Have one on mine, just damn hard to read unless you stop.
